EU-registered vehicles benefit from simplified procedures without customs duties. Non-EU vehicles may be subject to customs duty (typically 6.5%), VAT (23%), and excise tax (3.1% for engines up to 2000cc, 18.6% for larger engines).

Registration fees total approximately 256-500 PLN including plates, registration card, and administrative fees. Processing takes 1-5 working days. Annual vehicle inspection costs 98-162 PLN depending on vehicle type. Third-party liability insurance (OC) is mandatory and starts from approximately 400 PLN per year.
